In the midst of these unprecedented times, life can seem chaotic, unpredictable, and even scary. It can be daunting to look towards the future. It can seem like our goals are meaningless in the face of uncertainty. At times, it feels too big to overcome. We understand how it feels, but friends, we are here to say that there is hope. A hope that reminds us that we can thrive in the midst of uncertainty. That we will get through this together. It champions us to cultivate what matters—little by little, day by day. We are not alone, and this season will not last forever. In this season, we are declaring Hope over our circumstances. As we walk through this together, we want to share more about the hope that is an anchor to our soul.

At Cultivate What Matters, we believe hope is found in Jesus Christ. We follow his ways; strive to live our lives in a manner that is consistent with the precepts and doctrines of our faith, which are grounded solely in the Bible. We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, that serves as the final authority and source of what we believe concerning truth, morality and the way we live our lives.

We believe the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he came and lived a perfect life, died a sinner’s death on our behalf, rose again on the third day declaring victory over sin and death and is now sitting at the right hand of God, awaiting his triumphant return. His loving sacrifice offers us salvation by grace, through faith, in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that God grants us continual communion with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit is within us, to teach, guide, instruct, and is a seal of our inheritance in Christ Jesus.

Cultivate exists to bring glory to God and share His truth with our employees, customers, and community by serving them according to the principles that honor and glorify Him. In light of our beliefs, we seek to operate Cultivate in accordance with the foundations of our faith and strive to make all business decisions according to biblical principles. To this end, Cultivate seeks to always fulfill Jesus’ command to love our neighbors as ourselves and to do unto others as we would have done unto us by serving our community with love and excellence.

Friends, we find our hope in the unending love of God. It is not a hope full of wishful thinking, rather, it is an expectant trust in God, knowing He before all things, and in Him, all things hold together. Our hope is the anchor to our soul because it is grounded in our perfect God. It doesn’t mean we will not go through storms throughout our lives, it just means that during those times, we can hold fast to the truth that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
