Friends,
Cultivate What Matters is deeply important to us and has been woven into our lives—and yours—for many years. Nearly 15 years ago, I remember longing to be an entrepreneur as I desperately wanted to work from home while raising little children. Before TikTok and Instagram taught us all how to grow a side hustle, I fell in love with my very first, loose-leaf PowerSheets. That goal planner helped me start a wedding photography side hustle, a mid-market Christian publishing company, and eventually led to me becoming the owner and CEO of Cultivate What Matters.
Because of all the years we’ve spent together and all the goodness we’ve gotten to be a part of along the way, it is with bittersweet expectation that our team at Cultivate shares that the 2027 PowerSheets collection will be the final one for our team, and that we will be sunsetting Cultivate What Matters as a business in early 2027.

While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it is one we have wrestled with for over a year. To close something that has meant so much to so many people isn’t easy, even when it’s a decision covered in prayer. Additionally, we sought counsel from wise friends, colleagues, and business advisors.
While we were filled with enthusiasm and big ideas when we took the reins of CWM in 2022, the reality is that the majority of business acquisitions fail. As a result of many complicated factors, Cultivate’s goal-setting tools have declined in impact year over year—despite diligent, passionate effort from the Cultivate team. At this time, it does not make sense to continue.
While we know this news will likely be sad and surprising, we hope you’ll take the long view with us, celebrating the thousands of lives changed by Cultivate’s mission over the years: the goals achieved, habits formed, relationships deepened and restored—not to mention the books written, businesses grown, races run, parties thrown, milestones celebrated, and challenges overcome.
The ripple effect of simple, powerful ideas—that little-by-little action adds up, that progress is better than perfection, that change is possible—has been profound, and we trust it will continue to touch people for generations to come.
In the meantime, there is a bright spot. By God’s grace, Write the Word journals have continued to meet a need and find new homes around the world. We are excited to offer these journals in the future through our sister brand’s website at The Daily Grace Co. Some of you may already be familiar with TDGC; for those who are not, we humbly welcome you to explore.
We know you likely have more questions, and you can read a few FAQs about this transition here.
In addition to sharing this announcement, today is also Cultivators’ Appreciation Day and the day we share the dates for the final PowerSheets collection. While the timing is bittersweet, it couldn’t be more appropriate. Throughout this transition we have felt overwhelmed by gratitude at all we’ve gotten to be a part of: an opportunity to use our gifts and to be a part of so many dreams, yes, but most especially to link arms with so many passionate, generous, and enthusiastic women. Thank you. Your support—no matter how seemingly small or large—has changed us, and it has changed the world. Today, we celebrate you.
And we celebrate one final chance to equip each other with trusted tools to live out what matters. One-Year PowerSheets goal planners (undated) and a limited number of 2027 Season by Season daily and weekly planners will launch on Tuesday, September 15. Our team will be here to cheer you on throughout the remainder of this year as we prepare for 2027 together.

Our mission, as ever, is to change a culture, helping women to live purposeful, joyful lives right where they are. That is a mission that will never die. Thank you, more than ever, for being a part of it.
With gratitude,
Kristin, Jeremy, and Team Cultivate
