Let's Talk About Buying Your Next Set of PowerSheets

Let's Talk About Buying Your Next Set of PowerSheets

It's a point every PowerSheets® goal planner user reaches at some point in her journey: she gets to the end of her current set, and has to make a decision as to whether to buy another.

For many customers, it's a no-brainer: they've got their calendar marked for launch day, they earmark money for the purchase early, and they check out first thing with their favorite cover the first day they're available. They've used PowerSheets for a few months or a few years; they know them, they love them, and they've seen their lives improve as a result of using them.

Other users, though, get to the end of their workbook and pause. Is this you? Maybe you didn't accomplish all the goals you set in January. Maybe your plans were derailed more than once and you're feeling disillusioned. (If you lived through 2020 and 2021, you're raising your hand right now.) Maybe finances are tighter than they have been in the past. Maybe you're just tired.

We see you, we hear you, and we still love you :) Today, we wanted to chat honestly about whether or not you should buy PowerSheets in 2022. Because the thing is, despite all the twists and turns we've been through in this season, despite plans being upended left and right, and yes, despite the mental, emotional, and sometimes physical challenges many of us have been through, we STILL think PowerSheets are the absolute best tool to help you live your most intentional life

Consider this post one part practical-solution-roundtable and one part pep talk. We all need both, right?!

From our community, we're hearing three barriers to diving back in with PowerSheets in 2022:

1. Finances
2. Tiredness
3. Discouragement

Oh friends, we hear you. Let's chat through each of these!

1. My finances are tighter than ever. I can't afford or don't think I can justify purchasing a goal planner.

First off, for some of you reading this, PowerSheets might not be a priority right now: maybe you're between jobs or struggling to pay for basic necessities. We see you, and we're proud of you for making tough choices for yourself and your family. Let's skip this yearend of story.

Others of you are wondering whether PowerSheets are worth squeezing into your budget. This is a frequent topic of conversation in our Facebook group, and the best thing we can do is pass the mic to a few of those ladies:

"This isn’t a daily planner. It’s a goal planner. It essentially takes the place of hiring a life coach or investing in a self-improvement course. It isn’t irresponsible to invest in yourself. It’s almost irresponsible not toespecially if you’re not seeing results from what you’ve already been doing. The cost of the PowerSheets becomes negligible if you are taking the time to do the work and get towards the goals you’ve set for yourself." Jasmine

"PowerSheets saved me thousands of dollars last year helping me navigate a goal I had. To me they are a well worth the investment in myself because they work for me. They have for a few years now." Heather

"Are PowerSheets expensive? Of course, and this has been discussed at length in this group. Is they required to have a successful and productive life? Of course not, but for those who feel supported and encouraged by an annual investment of $70-200 that they are able to budget for? To these individuals, it is worth every penny." Bethany

"I was a single mom on welfare 6 years ago. PowerSheets were an investment that was so worth it because they taught me how to set goals, which in turn helped me graduate from college, get a degree, career, new houses, husband, and have another child. If I can make big changes, anyone can. So whenever someone says that spending the money isn’t worth it, I like to tell my story. Those first few 60 dollar investments I made changed my entire life." Patricia-Ann

Whewthere's hardly anything we can add to that! But, if PowerSheets aren't financially possible this year, we hope you'll consider our Intentional Weekly Planner Notepad. It doesn't have the Prep Work, goal-setting structure, or other features of the PowerSheets, but it is a great solution to proactively plan your days and cultivate habits.

2. I'm tired from the last two years and I want to quit.

Oof. You're tired from keeping people safe and worrying about people staying healthy and constantly weighing risks. You're tired from relentless job demands or kids quarantining from school or plain old loneliness. You're tired from pivoting.

Yes, friend, yes. We're all in this together! Like you, we've felt the tension and stressors of this season, but we won't quit, and neither will you. We'll help you remember what matters and what doesn't AND that goal setting can be FUN! We'll move forward together.

The good news is that PowerSheets help you do less. They help you say a hard NO to the things that aren't serving you and the people you love in this season. They help you make a plan so you can say YES to the things that feed your mind, body, and soul. They help you do the things that matter, that add joy and refreshment to your life.

Say it with us: we're not going to quit. This is good work, worthy effort, and we're not going to quit.

3. I'm discouraged and disillusioned. I haven't achieved all my goals and this COVID season of uncertainty seems like it's never going to end.

Goal setting feels impossible, we get it. After these last two years, is it even worth making plans anymore? Maybe you don't even believe it's possible to have a great year ahead, because you keep getting tripped up right out of the starting gate.

We say this gently and with love, but what's the alternative? Just not trying anymore? Throwing up your hands and letting life happen to you?

No, friend. That's not the best that's out there for you.

No matter how your year (or two) has gone, you have a choice. You can believe that a different outcome is possible in 2022, regardless of how your goal planning has gone in the past. And your PowerSheets will be there alongside you, guiding you into healthy routines, keeping you focused, and helping you stay accountable no matter how many times your goals and plans shift. They've helped women do this for a decade.

If you do, you'll feel your days adding up to something. You'll feel energized and empowered even in the face of setbacks. You'll be living a cultivated life—a life of peace, joy, and purpose!

Your PowerSheets are a gift to yourself: a promise that change is possible, a sign that hope is here, and a reminder that you can and will have a clean slate ahead. They are a jolt to your brain that says, "something new is here!"and sometimes that's just the push you need to kick a bad habit, start a new one, or light a fire under your life goals.

Team Cultivate is cheering you on, and we really do hope you join us and the thousands of other friends who have already chosen PowerSheets for 2022! If you have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comments!
