Happy unofficial beginning of summer, Cultivators! The temps are rising, the outdoors is beckoning, and many of us are spending the day with the ones we love, honoring and celebrating Memorial Day.
We hope you also make some time today to pop in your earbuds and listen to the newest episode of the Cultivate What Matters podcast! New episodes drop every Monday, and as of last week, we've splashed into a very fun podcast summer series: Your Cultivated Summer.
For the next few months, join Kelley each week as she sits down to chat with some of the women on Team Cultivate about all things goal setting and intentional living in the summer. Together, we’ll talk about the pains and pearls of keeping up with goals and living out what matters during this special time of year. Whether you have extra time to work towards your goals during the summer, or your summer schedule presents additional challenges, you’ll find exactly what you need to feel confident in your progress and to keep yourself focused on what matters most—and it will be easy and fun!
We're extra excited about this series because you'll have the chance to hear from several members of Team Cultivate, all of whom are in different life stages and circumstances with different goals and priorities. And, selfishly, the four of us are excited to have an excuse to chat with each other! ;)
In our summer series opening episode, the four of us introduce ourselves and share a bit about who we are and what matters to us in the summer. Give it a listen here and read on for a little sneak peek!
Meet Alli!
Hi, I’m Alli! I like to say my life runs on lists, kombucha, and Jesus ;) I’ve been married to my husband for 7 years now, and we have an 18-month-old boy, who is just pure joy and sunshine. And with that, a lot of my focus these days goes to stewarding my family. Lots of conversations happening in our little home about life and legacy, always.
I grew up in Chicago, but I’ve lived all my adult life in Raleigh… though I’ll always be a Chicago sports (and food) fan at heart. You can’t go wrong with Chicago pizza, Portillo’s, or a Rainbow Cone! I used to teach high school math and was a coach as well. And now I get to use all those skills in a new way here at Cultivate, where I am involved with all things customers. I’m just about a year into being on Team Cultivate, though it feels like much longer most days! It’s so fun to work with you all (and be real-life friends!), to get to learn from our Cultivators and listen to their stories, and to get to see the impact that Cultivate has had on so many.
Meet Casey!
Hey y’all! My name is Casey, and I’ve been on the Cultivate team for about two years. For Cultivate, I’ve gotten to do a range of things from customer service and teaching to product development and supply chain.
Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, I love the sweet city I live in nestled in the Appalachian mountains. In my late 20s, I’m actively pursuing career opportunities, attempting to check off my list of adventures and trips, stewarding my resources wisely for the future, and engaging in my community and neighborhood.
Meet Emily!
I’m Emily. I’ve bene married to my high school sweetheart for 10 years and we have three kids: 7, 4, and 1. I live in Raleigh, NC and I’m passionate about personal finance, reading and writing, my faith, hiking and traveling, and making what I like to call everyday magic for my family. I also have a personal blog called Em for Marvelous which I’ve been writing for almost 15 years.
Longevity is a theme here, because I have been at Cultivate for almost as long—14 years this summer. I have the true honor and privilege to write most of our products, from the PowerSheets® goal planner to things like the Reading Journal and Habit Workbook, as well as blog posts.
Meet Kelley!
Hey friends! I have been cohosting our podcast since September 2022, so hopefully many of us already know each other! :) I joined Team Cultivate in April of 2022, and have worked on quite a few different areas of our company, from emails to our website to teaching and the podcast. I live in Tampa, Florida with my two white German Shepherds.
Remember, you’ll hear from Emily, Casey, or Alli each week as they guest host with Kelley every Monday this summer from now through the end of August. We’ll be sharing encouragement, tips, stories, and more to help you cultivate your most intentional summer yet. We cannot wait to walk with you this summer during the Your Cultivated Summer series!
We'd love to hear: What challenges and good things does summer present for goal setting and intentional living in your season? Leave us a comment and let us know!
