The Cultivate Gift Guide + Holiday Sale

If you're anything like me, your email inbox ends up pretty full during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale week! Retailers are trying to convince you of all the things you NEED to be happy, healthy, and live a FULL life. But here's the thing, we don't actually need many things at all. It's taken me a while, but now I approach holiday sale weeks as an opportunity to steward my finances well and purchase gifts for the people on my list whom I love.

And that was how our team approached planning and preparing the first Cultivate Gift Guide. The first-ever Cultivate Gift Guide is a bit different from your average guide, and we did that on purpose. It’s a curated list of meaningful and useful gifts (starting at $0!) from shops and friends that our team loves and supports–items that are on our personal wish lists or things we love and use each and every day. We've also linked to each of their social media pages so you can follow along to see what sales they'll be offering next week. Our hope is that these gifts help you, and your loved ones, cultivate what matters.

And if you're anything like me, and you're stumped everytime someone asks, "What do you want for Christmas this year?", then the Cultivate Gift Guide might be full of ideas for YOU, too! Me? I've already added that walk in love t-shirt pictured to my list :)

Inside the Cultivate Gift Guide, you’ll also get a preview of what will be on sale in the Cultivate Shop next Tuesday starting at 10 am ET. My personal favorite? The Write the Word journals! It's a great time to stock up on holiday gifts for your loved ones! Best part? No coupon codes or door-busting required. We're kicking our sale off on Tuesday, November 22nd so you can shop ahead of Thanksgiving, and spend the holiday with those you love the most!

I'd love to hear from you: what is the most memorable gift you've ever been given? What is your favorite gift you've ever given to someone? Leave a comment, and let us know! I'll choose one commenter to win a Write the Word // Cultivate Gratitude journal on Tuesday, November 22nd.

How to Color-Code Your PowerSheets Goals

Since releasing our first edition of our Cultivate What Matters Sticker Book last fall, we've heard from countless PowerSheets users who have used stickers to make goal-setting more intentional and fun!

If you've been following Lara's PowerSheets goals over the past few months, you've likely noticed Lara's colored blocks and dots on her PowerSheets and Monthly Tending Lists. She's been trying out a new color-coding system that our team brainstormed months ago for our brand new Goal Setting Sticker Book, and we're so excited to see many of you incorporate it into your PowerSheets!

We've gotten lots of questions about how the new color-coding system works, and I have the best news for you: it's not complicated at all! We'll share a few tips we have for you below, but everything you need (and more!) to get started is in the Goal Setting Sticker Book!

Assign each of your yearly goals a color. Use the flags in the beginning of your sticker book to give each of your yearly goals an assigned color.

Use the color-coding dots to label your Tending List. As you fill our your Tending List each month, assign each of your monthly, weekly, and daily goals a colored dot sticker that coordinates with the appropriate yearly goal. Doing this helps you make sure your Tending List is filled with priorities and doesn't just become a to-do list. If there's a goal that doesn't fall into a particular yearly goal, ask yourself if it's relevant. You can even use our favorite pens to write out the goals for more color-coding!

Goal-related tasks remind you of your priorities at a glance, so that you can easily see where you are focusing your time and energy each month.

Give yourself grace. There might be some months where all your Tending List goals are one or two colors, and that's okay! Some months you'll need to put your head down and focus on one goal in particular, and it's okay for your Tending List to be one or two colors.

Don't stop at your PowerSheets. Use the color-coding system in other areas of your life! If you're a paper planner girl, you can use the colored dot stickers in your planner to help you see where you're spending your time. Ready to tackle that email inbox? Start assigning out labels with coordinating colors. The you can integrate products and systems you are already using on a daily basis, the better off you'll be!

Be willing (and eager) to re-evaluate your goals and what's working. Anytime you begin to implement new rhythms and routines, it's important to give yourself a bit of breathing room as you adjust. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are new systems for your life! Remind yourself that little by little progress adds up, and celebrate the progress you are making!

Are you ready to start color-coding your PowerSheets goals with us? It's not too late to order your PowerSheets Goal Planner and Goal Setting Sticker Book today!

Please note: We're unable to adjust previous orders that have been placed. If you've already placed an order in the Cultivate Shop and would like to purchase the sticker book, we encourage you to place an additional order.

Write the Word is Back!

Can I tell you a secret? When we hired Kaylee and I started training her on the ins and outs of Customer Delighting, I felt a little bad handing it all over to her. Not because she wasn't qualified (I mean have you had the chance to "meet" her yet? She's phenomenal), but because the worst part of that job is telling our friends when we are sold out of our products. It breaks my heart every single time knowing there are women ready to start cultivating what matters in their lives and we don't have products to put in their hands.

Since selling out of Write the Word in April, you have been patiently waiting for this day to come, and IT. IS. FINALLY. HERE. Write the Word journals are officially back in stock! Cue all the confetti. Bring out the streamers. Pop the champagne (after work hours, of course!)

What is the Write the Word Journal? The Write the Word journal is unlike any journal out there. Now Is Your Time (and a SURPRISE SALE!)

Want to know one of my top life tips?

Ask questions and be open to unexpected answers.

Think about it. How did you learn about the things you love most? You asked questions. You sought answers. When we stop asking questions, we stop growing. I love the questions you all have been asking me lately.

The top three questions I get asked:

1. How do you begin to figure out what your goals/passions are?
2. How do you overcome fear of failing in your goals?
3. How do you stay motivated?

My answers to all three questions? My PowerSheets goal planner. I created them because I kept asking those questions too. PowerSheets are how I uncover goals that motivate me, how I prioritize, and how I take action. And that fear of failing? It doesn't magically go away. Even better: your good goals become more important than your fear.

This might be crazy, but in an attempt to help a whole lot of people finally do the things they have always wanted to do-whether in motherhood, business, marriage, a career, or in cultivating what you have right where you are-I have a surprise for you:

The six-month undated PowerSheets are on SALE for $25.

It's time.
Time to do the things that have been burning on your heart.
Time to dig in, right where you are with what you have
July 1 could be your January 1, my friend.

Introducing Our Summer Goals Collection

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed that it has been quiet on the Cultivate blog these past few weeks. Let's just say that I still have a lot to learn about taking care of myself and managing my expectations, but that's a different story for another day. I hope you we don't fool you into thinking the Cultivate ladies have it all together because we most certainly do not. If you're feeling overwhelmed, vocalize it so that those around you can help. Okay, hopping off my soapbox now...

It's only fitting that the first post to dust off this here blog is announcing our Summer Goals Collection! Summer is often thought of as a season to let go and check out, but what if this is your season to dig into what is most important to you? What if it's time to make a decision to do the work and stop coasting? Guess what? Doing the work and digging in doesn't have to be boring or draining. We created these products to be beautiful, intentional, and fun! Without further adieu, let me introduce you to our lineup:

If you were hanging out with us last summer, you heard us talking a lot about a Fruitful Summer magazine for 2017. When brainstorming and designing, we found ourselves wanting something you could write in, not just a beautiful magazine to consume. From there, we decided to make a hybrid between a magazine and workbook. The Fruitful Friendship Workbook is part inspiring (to help you think in a new way) and practical (to help you put it into practice). It will equip and encourage you to dig into community right where you are-no perfection or perfect track-record required. I was lucky enough to help write this guide alongside Lara, and let me just say, we spent a lot of time making sure we merged the practical with the meaningful. There are tons of ideas in here about how to cultivate friendships that I'm already storing away for my June PowerSheets Tending List!

Our Encouragement Postcard Sets are one of my favorite items in the shop (and the most economical way to encourage your loved ones for those of you on a budget!) The Fruitful Summer Encouragement Postcard Set has an assortment of 20 cards featuring a fun summer saying, fruity pun, or friendly message. I'll be the first to admit that I laugh at most things (it makes me a great friend!), and some of these have me laughing out loud because they're so punny!

We will sing the praises of Asana, our project management software, all day long if you let us, but one of the most fun projects is certainly our Product Development project. This is where we put all your ideas as they come in, brainstorm ways to improve current projects and dream up fun new ones for you. We knew we wanted to update our mini prints, and we brainstormed a long list of phrases for our newest Mini Print collection. It was tough to narrow it down to just three! Our three newest mini prints look great tacked onto a bulletin board for extra encouragement or slipped into a card as a small surcee for a friend. In addition to the  Take the Leap Gold Foil Mini Print pictured above, we have What If Today Gold Foil Mini Print and Little by Little Gold Foil Mini Print.

Speaking of Product Development, after receiving numerous requests about how to set good, grace-filled goals as a family, we made it!The PowerSheets Companion Goal Guide for Parents will help you uncover your goals and what matters to your family. Our team members with littles have already taken this one for a test drive, and we're loving all the big ideas they are coming up with for their family!

Our PowerSheets Companion Guide for Couples has been in the shop for a few months now, but we'd be kicking ourselves for not mentioning it you again. The stories we’ve heard from the couples who are using this guide have been so uplifting! This guide will help you uncover your goals and what matters to both of you. Great for married, dating, or engaged couples. Fill this little book out on a summer date night, on the porch one evening, all at once, or little by little.

My best piece of advice for those who might have a partner that isn't quite as excited about setting goals? Trick them into it! That sounds malicious, but I promise it's not. Use the prompts in this guide as conversation starters! You can always go back and fill it in later.

If last year’s Fruitful Summer Product Launch was any indicator, the new Cultivate What Matters Tanks will be a favorite! Our sizes are limited, so if you want to snag one, I recommend adding it to your cart quickly! This is the perfect tank for heading out on a run or throwing on for a relaxing day at the park.

I'm saving the best for last, y'all! The Fruitful Summer Bundle! THIS is the gift I'd give all my friends if I had an unlimited bank account because it encompasses products that encourage and equip you to do something about the things that matter to you. (If I'm being honest, I'd probably also throw in a Write the Word journal, too!) Set meaningful summer goals and grow meaningful friendships this season with our Six-Month Undated PowerSheets Workbook in White, Fruitful Friendship Workbook, Fruitful Summer Postcard Set, and Take the Leap Mini Print. There are only 200 of these bundles available, so get yours while they last. We were created to do life together in community, and there's nothing more fun than diving into your 2017 PowerSheets and Fruitful Friendship Workbook with a group of gals who are your biggest cheerleaders!

Whew! Those are a lot of words, and I could probably tell you approximately 73 other reasons I'm excited about each of these products, but my to-do list calls. Each of the Cultivate ladies has picked a frontrunner, and time will only tell to see who is right! Tell me below: do you have a favorite from the Summer Goals Collection?
